Getting Ready

I can't believe how time just flies. It's almost time to get back to work. I have been doing a lot of learning this vacation. I've gone to several workshops and I have learned so many new things. I hope I can use some of what I have learned this year to make it exciting and challenging for both myself and my students. It's not easy trying out new things but it's necessary if we want to improve ourselves. I have this one idea that I am hoping will work out. It's not my original idea. I read it on someones blog. I'm going to tweak it a bit. It's called Project 162. I want to attempt to capture the day in the life of a typical 4th grader using pictures. We just purchased a brand new digital camera and thought it would be a great way to use it and at the same time have a final product that is memorable. I hope it works. I'm still trying to figure out the logistics but I will update you when it's all figured out.
